Motherson and FORCIOT are collaborating for embedding Forciot®sensor technology in automotive surface design solutions
The companies are together working towards designing and manufacturing the intuitive smart surface multi-functional console panel for the automotive market. The solution is based on Forciot® stretchable electronics sensor technology. The new HMI controller is integrated within innovative surface materials and it combines touch and force sensing functions for enhanced user experience.

Motherson Group introduces the “Intelligent reefer”, a specialised refrigeration system aiding in the transportation of Covid-19 vaccine.Motherson Group has developed the “intelligent reefer in a box” which is a perfect solution to the cold-chain infrastructure challenge being faced by India to vaccinate its population. With purpose-built IoT sensors integrated inside the container, fleet managers can monitor temperature, humidity, shock, tilt, and tamper. They can also adjust the temperature as required and sound the alarm if a problem occurs. This further integrates with QR Code tracking of all stock on-board- the location, status, and history of each package.The container can be assembled locally in just 96 hours, an advantage over conventional products which take over three weeks to deliver. Most of the critical components of the "intelligent reefer" are made in-house at Motherson. This allows us to offer a one-stop-shop solution with high control on quality. 

Motherson and Aira announced entering into a strategic partnership to bring FreePower® wireless charging to automakers. Both the companies aim to jointly develop, manufacture, and supply automotive-grade FreePower® wireless charging modules for seamless integration into vehicle interiors.

Motherson and UBQ Materials are Developing Car Parts of the Future.

Motherson Group announced its collaboration with Israeli cleantech company UBQ Materials. The companies are joining efforts to implement the carbon-negative UBQ ™ thermoplastic into auto parts manufactured by Motherson Group for the automotive industry. The waste-converted material supports OEMs in their efforts towards carbon neutrality.
